NOW ACCEPTING VENDOR APPLICATIONS for the 2024 western montana fair!

Let’s shoot for the stars in 2024’s Western Montana Fair theme ‘Lassoing the Moon’. This year’s Fair theme celebrates technology, the future, agriculture and creativity. With the success of previous Fairs, we’ve added one more day.

Missoula Stampede Rodeo and Lords of Dirt return to the newly built Clouse Bauer arena. Plus, don’t forget Fair favorites like the carnival, free live music, Fair exhibit and 4-H.

Application Requirements

The following application criteria is required. You can stop and save your application at any time throughout the process. Payment is required before the application will be considered.

Food Vendors

• Application opens January 8

• First review of applications begins March 1.

• Application closes April 1

AMUSEMENT Vendors

• Applications open January 8

• First review of applications begins March 15

• Application closes April 15

Commercial Vendors

• Applications open January 8

• First review of applications begins April 1

• Application closes May 30

2024 Important Dates & Times

• JULY 10 – Signed Contracts Due & Commercial Vendor Fees Due

• TBA – FAIR RALLY 6:00 p.m.

• JULY 27 thru JULY 31 - Permanent Concession Booth Set Up

• AUGUST 1 thru AUGUST 6 – Portable Concession Booths & Amusement Booths Set Up (by appointment only)

• August 5 - All mobile booths (food trucks, trailers, equipment, vehicles for display) must be in place

• AUGUST 6 thru 11 – WESTERN MONTANA FAIR

  • Operating Hours: TUE thru SAT, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. | SUN 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• AUGUST 12 thru 15 – Fair Breakdown 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• AUGUST 15 - Concession & Amusement Vendor Sales Reports & Fees due by 5 p.m.

• AUGUST 16 – Fairgrounds closed

Booth Requirements, Licensing & Policies

Review the Vendor Handbook for a complete list of policies and procedures including the following:

• Provide proof of insurance

• Remain open during designated operating hours, regardless of weather

• Follow Fair Sustainability Standards

• Follow Missoula Fire Department guidelines

• Follow Missoula City-County Health Department requirements
